This Privacy Policy explains how KnottyRestraints, doing business as Humbler and Harness (“KnottyRestraints,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), collects, uses, and shares information when you visit or make a purchase on this website (the “Site”). We are a California business located at 528 Tivoli Ct., Hemet, CA 92543.
1. Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of information:
- Identifiers: name, email address, shipping and billing address, phone number, and account login details if you create an account.
- Order and commercial information: products purchased, order history, and transaction amounts.
- Payment information: payment card details are collected and processed directly by our payment processor, Paykings; we do not store full card numbers on our servers.
- Internet and device activity: IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and similar data collected automatically through cookies and analytics tools, including Google Analytics.
- Marketing preferences: your email address and engagement with our marketing emails if you subscribe, sent through our email service providers (Hostinger Reach and/or Mailchimp).
Because the products sold on this Site relate to sex life and sexual practices, California law treats certain inferences drawn from your purchase history as sensitive personal information. We treat it accordingly, as described in Section 5 below.
2. How We Use Information
We use the information we collect to: process and fulfill your orders, including sharing your shipping information with the distributor fulfilling your order; communicate with you about orders, account activity, or customer service requests; send marketing emails if you have opted in, and let you unsubscribe at any time; maintain, secure, and improve the Site; detect and prevent fraud; and comply with legal obligations, including tax and recordkeeping requirements.
3. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information for money. We share information only as needed to run the business:
- With Paykings, to process your payment.
- With the wholesale distributor(s) fulfilling your specific order, limited to the shipping information needed to deliver your package. This is why packages ship discreetly, without external branding identifying the contents or the distributor.
- With Google Analytics (Google LLC), to understand how visitors use the Site. Google Analytics uses cookies; see Section 4.
- With our email service provider(s) (Hostinger Reach and/or Mailchimp), to send marketing communications you’ve opted into.
- With law enforcement, regulators, or other parties when required by law, subpoena, or court order, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of KnottyRestraints, our customers, or others.
- With a successor business in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
4. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
The Site uses cookies and similar technologies for core functionality (such as keeping items in your cart), analytics (Google Analytics), and, if enabled, marketing. You can control cookies through your browser settings, and our cookie banner lets you manage non-essential cookies directly. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal or similar opt-out preference signal, we honor it as a valid request to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information on this Site.
5. Your California Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA)
If you are a California resident, you have the right, subject to certain exceptions, to:
- Know what personal information we have collected, used, disclosed, and, if applicable, sold or shared about you.
- Delete personal information we have collected from you, subject to exceptions such as completing a transaction or complying with a legal obligation.
- Correct inaccurate personal information we hold about you.
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information. We do not currently sell personal information for money, and we do not use your data for cross-context behavioral advertising. If that changes, this section and our Your Privacy Choices page will be updated, and the opt-out mechanism described there will apply.
- Limit the use of sensitive personal information to what is reasonably necessary to provide the products and services you request. Given the nature of our products, we treat inferences about your purchases as sensitive personal information and do not use it for anything beyond fulfilling your order, providing customer service, and basic aggregate analytics, and you may direct us to further limit this use at any time.
- Non-discrimination: we will not deny you goods or services, charge you a different price, or provide a different level of service because you exercised any of these rights.
- Appeal: if we deny a rights request, you may appeal by replying to our denial email or contacting us at the address below; we will respond within 45 days.

We will verify your request using the information associated with your order or account before responding, and will respond within the time required by law.
6. California Shine the Light
California Civil Code Section 1798.83 permits California residents to request certain information about our disclosure of personal information to third parties for their own direct marketing purposes. We do not share personal information with third parties for their own direct marketing use.
7. Children’s Privacy
This Site is restricted to users 18 and older and is not directed at, and does not knowingly collect personal information from, anyone under 18. If we learn we have collected information from someone under 18, we will delete it.
8. Data Retention and Security
We retain order and account information for as long as needed to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, including tax, accounting, and fraud-prevention obligations, after which we delete or anonymize it. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect your information, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
