Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information
KnottyRestraints does not sell your personal information for money, and we do not share it with third parties for cross-context behavioral advertising. Because California law defines “sharing” broadly, we still honor every opt-out request we receive, and we honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals sent by your browser as a valid opt-out request, whether or not we are currently sharing data.
To submit a Do Not Sell or Share request, email contact@knottyrestraints.com with the subject line “Do Not Sell or Share Request.” We will confirm in writing once your request has been honored.
Limit the Use of My Sensitive Personal Information
Because our products relate to sex life and sexual practices, your purchase history may be treated as sensitive personal information under California law. We already limit our use of this information to fulfilling your order, providing customer service, fraud prevention, and basic aggregate analytics. To request further limits, email contact@knottyrestraints.com with the subject line “Limit Use of Sensitive Personal Information.”
Know, Delete, or Correct My Information
You can ask us what personal information we have about you, ask us to delete it, or ask us to correct it. Email contact@knottyrestraints.com with the subject line “Privacy Request” and let us know which of these you’re asking for. We will verify your identity using the information tied to your order or account, and we will respond within 45 days as required by law.
Appeal a Decision
If we deny your request, you can appeal by replying to our decision or emailing contact@knottyrestraints.com with “Privacy Appeal” in the subject line.
Authorized Agents
You may designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf. We may still require you to verify your own identity directly with us and confirm that you gave the agent permission to act for you.
